Knife Tool
The Knife tool allows you to cut paths into pieces.
- Just click and drag the knife across a couple places
- then use the black arrow tool to deselect the original path , and
- select just the part you want to delete/move.
Freeform/Reshape Area Tool
There are 2 tools that are very similar for changing shapes. You click and drag near the edge of a shape and push/pull the edge.
- Freeform, and
- Reshape Area
There are different settings in Properties...
If you click the Freeform tool, you'll get a circular indent like this...
If you click and drag the Freeform or the Reshape Area tools, you can make any shape you want...
