Preset on Path

Preset Style

Go to the panels on the right and find Styles. Click on it to open/expand it. (If you don't see it, go to WINDOWS>Styles). Use the drop-down menu to choose a style category.

Then choose any effect within a category to apply it.

Note: if you don't see any effect, try adding a Stroke color.

For example, here I've chosen a Chrome style...

Shape

Select the Ellipse tool (click and hold the Rectangle toolbutton). Click and drag out an oval/circle - the stroke/fill don't matter.

Attach text to path

  1. Select the shape and text layers (click and drag with black arrow tool, or hold CTRL and click both layers in the Layers panel). Both layers should be shaded/selected...
  2. Go to TEXT>Attach to Path...

The shape will be gone but the text will be following the shape...

You want the text in the middle, so go to Properties and play with the Text offset amount and/or change the alignment to "left"...

Then move the text/shape so you can see it all on the canvas.
